This policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage that soundtovision.com uses, provided by Odlogo, London, UK. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
Cookies are small files your browser keeps for a website. "Local storage" is similar: a place in your browser where a site can keep settings. Both stay on your own device. We don't use them for advertising, and we don't use Google Analytics. Our anonymous usage statistics (Amazon CloudWatch RUM, see our Privacy Policy) use no cookies, only the two small browser-storage items listed below.
| Name | Type | What it's for | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookie (PHPSESSID) | Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in as you move between pages | Until you sign out or close your browser |
| Sign-in cookies (AWS Cognito) | Strictly necessary | Set by our sign-in service on its own sign-in page, to sign you in (including "Continue with Google") | Your sign-in session |
| stv_cookie_consent (local storage) | Strictly necessary | Remembers your cookie choices, so we don't ask again | Until you clear it, or we change this policy |
| Editor settings (local storage) | Functional | Remembers your choices in the editors, such as the theme, which welcome messages you've dismissed, the order of your asset cards, which assets you've selected for the AI, and the Reactive Editor's last script | Until you clear it |
| stov_visit (session storage) | Statistics | Notes that this visit has been counted, so a visit is counted once rather than on every page | Until you close the tab |
| stov_notrack (local storage) | Statistics | Remembers that you've opted out of usage statistics (only set if you visit ?notrack=1) | Until you clear it, or visit ?notrack=0 |
| Google reCAPTCHA | Optional | Protects our contact form from spam. Only loaded on the contact form, and only if you allow it | Set by Google; see Google's Privacy Policy |
When you buy tokens or the Pro licence, you're taken to Stripe's checkout, which sets its own cookies to process the payment securely; see Stripe's cookie policy.
If we start using a new kind of cookie, we'll update this page and ask for your consent again where it's needed.
